MedFam is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your health data belongs to you, which is why we built an offline-first app that keeps your data on your device by default.

Data We Collect

Local Data (Stored on Your Device): All medicine schedules, dose tracking, family profiles, and health data are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.

Cloud Sync (Pro Feature, Optional): If you choose to enable cloud sync, your data is securely stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore. This allows you to access your data across multiple devices.

Account Information: If you create an account, we store your email address and authentication credentials securely.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the medicine tracking functionality you expect. We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal health information in any way.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption for data in transit and at rest. Your cloud-synced data is protected by Firebase security rules and requires authentication to access.

Your Rights

You can delete your data at any time by uninstalling the app (local data) or by deleting your account (cloud data). Contact us at support@medfam.app for any data-related requests.
