Getting Started

How do I add a family member?

Tap the "+" button on the Profiles screen to create a new family member profile. You can add their name, choose an emoji avatar, and customize their settings.

How do I add a medicine?

Select a family member's profile, then tap "Add Medicine". Enter the medicine name, dosage, schedule (which days and times), and choose a color for easy identification.

How do I set up reminders?

When adding or editing a medicine, you can set specific times for each dose. Make sure notifications are enabled in your device settings to receive reminders.

Managing Medicines

How do I edit a medicine?

Tap on the medicine you want to edit from the profile view. You can update the name, dosage, schedule, and color at any time.

How do I delete a medicine?

Swipe left on the medicine in the list view, or tap on it and select "Delete" from the options. This will also remove all history for that medicine.

How do I track doses?

On the Today screen, tap the checkbox next to each dose when it's taken. The app will track your adherence and show statistics over time.

Notifications

How do I enable or disable reminders?

Go to Settings in the app and toggle notifications on or off. You can also manage notification permissions in your device's Settings app under MedFam.

Why am I not receiving notifications?

Make sure notifications are enabled both in the app settings and in your device settings. Also check that Do Not Disturb mode is not active during your scheduled reminder times.

Subscriptions & Billing

What's included in MedFam Pro?

Pro includes unlimited family profiles, unlimited medicines per profile, 90-day history, full analytics, cloud sync across devices, and priority support.

How do I subscribe or cancel?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). To subscribe, tap "Upgrade to Pro" in the app. To cancel, go to your device's subscription settings.

How do I restore my purchase?

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same App Store or Google Play account used for the original purchase.

Account & Data

Do I need an account to use MedFam?

Yes, you need to create an account to use MedFam. This allows us to securely store your data and enable features like cloud sync across multiple devices.

How does cloud sync work?

Cloud sync is a Pro feature that securely backs up your data and syncs it across all your devices. Enable it in Settings after creating an account.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account through the app settings or by visiting our account deletion page. Please note that this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
